Might want to think about a different clutch. Ive been reading a lot of horror stories on them lately and not just people that have gone through one but two and three of them. Now I might be missing the other side of the story so if someone has some better info please chime in. I heard the street twin was a much better clutch anyway.

Ive seen the same thing. I know of a couple LS1 guys that have gone through stage 3's in a couple thousand miles with maybe only one or 2 trips to the track. I think its kinda hit or miss with Spec now-a-days. The only thing that I can think of to change would be the SLP LM. Its gonna be LOUD and raspy with that setup. Id look into a Hooker catback or even a true dual setup depending on how "all out" you wanna go.

Well, if you're lookin for #'s, you'll be over well 400hp ans for the 1/4 mi times and the chassis set up you have, Hahaha, that's on you. the car is capable of 11's. I'm not putting you down, it's just driver now and possibly elevation, air temp, etc, depending on where you're at. My LS1 Z runs low 8's in the 1/8th, natural. I let a friend run it 3 times in a row and he was runnin 9's. It was his first time racing and it was a good learining experience for him. AND me when I said he could use the juice and run a 7.xx. He almost crashed my car.

I prefer the Mcleod Street Twin. Great clutch that can take a ton of abuse.

i would suggest going with some bigger heads, if your gonna spend the money you might as well go with some 215's or maybe some 227's, cam looks sweet, i would use kooks long tubes, and put some 17x11 zr1's w/315 nitto drags, and you should be set for well over 400 rwhp, and withthe right driver it should put you inthe low 11's...

i wouldnt waste my time with the SLP loudmouth...go true duals with an H pipe and race mufflers.....as long as you dont have to worry about emissions...youll love the sound and see more HP gains

Ive been doing business with Advanced Induction for about 2.5 months and they are some stand up people. I made a mistake and bought some beat heads from fbodyjunk.com and AI didnt treat me like a jackass like some people would. I should also say fbodyjunk refounded my money with no trouble and resonded to all emails quick. AI is porting a set of trickflows and grinding me a cam. Might want to consider a custom cam I am glad I sold my 224/230 and am going with something that I know will be closer matched to my heads and 383 setup when I get some money for it.

much better heads out there for the money.
like some nice ported stockers that can outflow those AFR's dollar for dollar!!
forget the cam shaft, and get the heads done 1st....then have a cam matched to the heads
cam should always be one of the last items purchased
otherwise, you will never see full potential out of your setup.

my $0.02

Congratulations, you just listed a ton of mods. Do you actually plan to do any of them? Get the car first, then the mods . How old are you/what is your income? Mods like that don't just fall on your lap.
