no there not coated u dont need to get ss coated, no there not emissions legal and there for all year lt1

Sounds Like they wont work fo rme BUT maybe if the price is right? What you want for them?

Guys, The material we use for our headers is 304 stainless. They wouldn't rust if you threw them in the Atlantic Ocean for 20 years. They also fit the best, install the easiest and have the best plug access of any brand. Nick "Kook's Headers"

i run hooker super comp shorty/mid length headers. they look like mac mid's to me and come down past the oil pan when installed so i dont kow if they qualify as a shorty. they have a 3" ory with them to. they retail for about $550 coated i think, i got mine from a member of another board.
