That information is about two years out of date.

That's what it means. Haven't done that for a couple of years. LT1 PCMs are $350.00 + freight.

Thanks, Ed

Updates are $150.00 + freight. If it has a sticker like that, it probably says that stuff is not compatible. If one comes in like that for an update, I always send it back out "unlocked". Have for about two years. Even if it is like that, anybody can write over it with any program they want. Any "tuner" with any principals will start with their own work in there anyway, and not base the new tuning on somebody else's work. Turned out more guys wanted to try tuning their own than I had imagined, so I stopped doing that. Just caused problems for too many guys. I am always developing new stuff, so updates for whatever reason also get anything new that I have. Lately things have been for fuel economy (no effect on power), and little things like enabling manual 2nd gear in the 4L60E for easier burnouts if wanted, for the guys that run at the track. Easier on the car than having to let it shift to 2nd @ WOT in the water box. Try that one on an F body or Vette with lt1edit or Tunercat.

Take care, Ed

Bryan Herter from PCMforless.com did mine overnight for me and it was only $50 for an email tune. With my headers and tune i went from (on a G-tech, i know) the times in my sig. Still very impressive difference with his tune.
