gears & trans? I'm thinking of going from stock 2.73's to3.73's, do you think I'll notice a big difference? I'm also having my trans rebuilt, what kind of converter should I use? It's a 1996 Z28, does anyone recommend changing tire size? I do drive the car.

The gear swap will be a huge difference, far as stall, again, what year car? Stick to a 2800, with 3.73s that car will run real good, be screaming for some long tubes and drag radials if you dotn already have them. Any case 3.73s and a 2800 stall, will wake that thing up, those two mods couples with a cat back, cold air and a set of drag radials will put a stock LT1 in to the real low 13s.

You shouldn't have any problems mustering a 12 second run with the gears, stall, cai, free mods. You may even look for a tune for all your mods. Possibly some low 12s with that tune. Ok, that's here in maryland, hell everything runs better here, lol.
