lt1 -ls1 coil per cylinder conversion
The Delteq uses 4 coils from the Northstar...not one coil per cylinder but waste spark setups work just as well IMO. I had severe problems with opti's before going to Delteq and I can't say enough good things about this setup. Smooth through the RPM's, kindergarten level setup, very clean and tucked away (radiator mount), whenever the Stage II comes out, it will eliminate the opti all together. As of now it only uses the optical section of the opti so you don't have to have a functioning cap/rotor. AFAIK with the LTCC you have to have a completely functioning opti and there have been problems with wire choice and interference with that setup. A buddy of mine went with LTCC and sent it back a couple of weeks later.
On the other hand there are several people very satisfied with the LTCC...as there are with Delteq. Personally I prefer Delteq and am glad I went with it.

Thats another option.
I just bought one, It wont be delivered until Monday 1/24/05.
Hope theirs not any bad write ups on this Item other than the price. I was originally waiting for the Delteq Gen2 that completely deleted the opti. Cant wait anymore. You have the same problem I had at high rpms. Its more than likely a High res failure or just weak spark!
