Need headers?
I have a 94 t/a with the lingenfelter cold air intake and a flowmaster exhaust. Now I have been wanting to get some headers but i dont know which kind. Should i get shorties, mid lengths, or long tubes? They need to be emissions legal with a carb number since i live in california. Im also gonna probably be getting a full cat back, either the GMMG or the Loudmouth. Im pretty new to all of this. Thanks

well for cali emissions i would either go with SLP whch i beleive are Carb E.O. legal or edelbrock which are for sure Carb E.O.... Everything that is either a long tube or mid length are non legal for emissions in Cali. U can go with TPIS long tubes set up which have a y-pipe with cats. It all depends on the smog shop when that time comes around....
I am selling my SLP headers and y pipe. I will let them go for $400. New they are $699.95. These gave me .4 in the quarter on a bolt-on car. If interested e-mail me at mward14@cinci.rr.com

I'm in the same dalema of what headers to get. I only have to pass IL emissions but they do a sniffer here as well. I want long tubes real bad but don't know if they will pass.
Sucks real bad.

Either of those 1 3/4 or 1 5/8? Coated or uncoated?

I got a buddy that has a set of coated SLP 94-95 Single cat headers and Ypipe he is selling. They are the best Midlengths you can get for these cars in my opinion. I also think he is getting rid of them for less than what these other guys are asking. His name is Turbo_z on www.cz28.com. He's getting rid of them because someone pretty much gave him a set of LT's.
The ones I have for sale are SS and are in perfect condition, I'll include the test pipe I had made too, so you can switch out your cat in ten minutes. Mine are made for air tubes too, but I had some caps made, so you can run them w/o the tubes if you want.
