Its really hard to say what your gonna need without knowing your baseline. It depends on several variables, most importantly the track you run at, time of year and your driving ability. My suggestion would be to go to the track and get a baseline. It could be just boltons or it may be heads & cam. Most LT1s are gonna need at least a cam to hit mid to low twelves but high twelves are possible with just boltons.

well the track is lacr that i run at, it's 2500 ft above sea level so most lt1s out here run low to mid 14's stock. track condition isn't that great either. but basically i just want to put some of the faster ls1s and imports out here in my rear view

It is going to take HP or weight, or actually both. the easiest way is to take the weight out of it and see where you are and then do all the bolt ons.

It will take gears, headers, and all the other BOs. Then depending on how much weight you removed, might take a cam. If done right, no cam is needed but that means alot of weight is taken out.

My 94 lt1 ran a best of 12.65@106 bolts on's only
Long tubes, vig 2800 stall, 3.73's,slp cold air, magnaflow, slicks n skinnies
Your car is a M6 you might want gears like 410's and a 12 bolt would help get you there

Being that you are an M6 you might be looking at a 12 bolt or 9" due to the added shock the manual will put on the rear end. Not to mention how much harder it is to get out of the hole with an M6 vs A4 w/stall. To run the times in my sig I did long tubes, cc306, 3.73s, elec. water pump, vig 2800, CAI, and Nitto drag radials.
