Default 396 cubic inch lt1 with t76

how fast do you think this combo should be able to go ? it is Motor: 396 with 9.4:1 cr, 4 bolt splayed caps, canfield heads that have been fully ported, custom turbo cam by Comp Cams intake an exhaust is 230-235@50 , 544-555 on a 114 , r series lifters, Ferrea valves, Callies crank, JE pistons, Oliver Rods, 58 mm tb, #65 injectors, F.A.S.T. tuned by Harry Hruska at Precision, Walbro 340 fuel pump, electric water pump, T76 turbo, custom 1 3/4 headers, intercooler, 3 1/2 dp to 3"SLP exhaust . 6 speed with mccloud twin disc and 3.50 gears in 9 in. it is in a stock weight 94 camaro .

You should build it and tell us, then give the car to me because after you find out how many cars you can beat in it there wont be much use for it anymore.

actually i am buying it from a super nice guy . i am just glad he decided to sell . i will let everyone know what it runs when the track opens . i was just looking for suggestions.

the 6 speed will slow that car down dramatically with a good built auto th400 you would gain alot of time in a car with that much power
but yes thats a very fast car if set up properly and i mean scarry fast low 9's isnt an out of reach goal with that setup maybe even quicker

and just to add i wasnt tryin to be an *** about the m6 comment i was just mentioning it a car with that much power would be a monster on the track with an auto

a 6 speed isnt the greatest for a turboed car

thanks everyone . i am going to put a 400 turbo trans with a brake if i keep the car .i will try to post pics tomorrow . any more suggestions or comments welcome . monster7 i know what you mean , it is a monster with the 6 speed

i was thinkin about gettin a 396 for my lt1 but i think im goin to get heads instead and later do a 383 or 396

Depends on what you want from it, if you wnat a bad *** fun street car you can roll race, a six speed isnt a bad choice for a turbo car. If your looking to drag race it, then yea, a Th400 may be whats for you.

i want a fast toy . i would love to go 9s and be able to drive it to the track . any other suggestions or comments ?

car also has tubular K member , spohn torque arm , lower control arms and subframe connectors .

i picked it up today and it is plum cool . makes great power and it is only making 7 lbs with the controller turned down .

I hope you now how to work on cars cause with that setup you are going to break crap if you beat on it. Be careful turning up the boost also unless you are running race gas.

I hope that car has a rollcage. It will be scary fast regardless of trans and capable of a 9-second pass.
