does the comp cams distributor gear fit

i have a 95 camaro z i was wondering if the comp cams bronz distributor fit and work like my old oil pump drivetrain will it fit it is a .491'shaft part #dg88 in yearone.com

You cannot use a bronze gear with a stock camshaft! The stock cam is Not a billet core,You will need to use the GM melonized dist.gear~#10456413 $24.95.The bronze gear is to soft and the cam would eat the gear up!Hope that helps you out! thanks!
