Did you change the coil wire? I've heard of some people changing that and fixing the problem, some didn't I guess the fix for this kind of thing is hit or miss at best. Unfortunatly this problem is way too common on our cars...

i would double check the coil wire or the coil that was happening to my 95 the coil wire was bad and at high rpm it would get missfire and changed the wire and it stoped

it should have been in the package with the other wires. if not im sure you could order it from an MSD dealer. as far as where is it on the engine. look at the drivers side cylinder head in the front. the coil should be sitting right there and have a fairly short plug wire running out the to behind the water pump. thats it right there

Is one of your bolt-ons a power module? I had one on my 94 Z and it developed a distinct miss at high rpm and I couldn't figure out what it was forever. I started taking things off to try and fix it and it happened to be the first thing and it fixed it. But if you dont have one, i cant think of anything else.

you might want to consider the possibility that the Ignition Control Module is gone bad, here is a link to a website that explains how to test it with a multimeter...http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#opti_test
good luck with it, usuallly when they go out the car will develop a high end miss then the car will proceed not to fire up at all when you on a hot date
i have recently dealt with this problem on my 95...you can pm me if you have any questions...good luck

wait until night time, pop the hood while the car is warm and watch both sides of the motor for sparks. The plug wires are probably arcing to the headers/manifolds. If it doesn't spark at idle have somebody rev it for you, but you probably won't need that. Pay special attention to the rear wire on the drivers side, that's the one that does it the most.
