Talking CFM from a 1.940" intake valve?

Yesterday I flow tested the 024 aluminum LT1 heads that I've been working on. They've got a stock 1.940" intake valve with a backcut. Superflow 600 @ 28" with a 1/2" clay radius

1 - 71
2 - 149
3 - 208
4 - 246
5 - 267
6 - 272
7 - 273

I think I'm doing pretty good

Yeah, that's very nice. Glad you found something you enjoy so much. Stick with it!

If you want to practice on some of my heads, I'll send them to ya

Maybe, but I don't think so. I want to put some 2.00/1.55 valves in these heads and sell them. I've got a set of Ferrea 2.055/1.600 valves, and I already cut the old seats out of another set of heads to put those in. I would want the bigger valves in my personal car.

Question

oh yeah, one of the reasons I posted this was to ask if you folks have seen much better numbers from a stock size valve?
