355 Lt1 Build Hey i'm getting ready to put together my motor and this is what i'm considering doing. 355 with ture 11.1 comp, forged pistons, light waight 6" rods(will this benifit me?) with free float wrist pins. I going to have every thing balanced, put a good fluid balancer on it .I have a set of fully ported stock heads 58 cc stock size valves
1.6 rockes and i'm thinking of running a cam in the range of 232/242 575/595 lift with a 112lsa. I also have fully ported intake gasket matched to heads with a bbk 58mm throttle body BBK shortie header, borla exhaust,
I'm goning to update the fuel system with bigger injector and fuel pump,
get the ecm dyno tuned, and probally run a 2800-3200 stall with 373 gears
provided all this do you think i will be able to run a 175-200 shot on pump gas?
Any ideas on any other things i can do to make power.
people keep telling me to build a stroker. but what i really want is a motor that can pull some higher rpms.
