pcm masters needed

i got the lt1 edit software and started tuning.we tuned about 6 times and then in the middle of a tune the lap top shut down because of a low batt. now it wont even talk too the car puter. i got a new pcm and want too know if i can burn the new one or if im gonna need the dealer too burn it first? thanks guys
