header programming Are there any possible problems with the car throwing codes after I intsall my headers I should be concerned with? Putting on pacesetter long tubes with an offroad y pipe

Are you removing the emmisions? Depending on the year you will get a code for rear o2's/emmisions, it won't affect your performance. You should eventually get the car tuned, that will help maximize your hp/torque your gaining from your headers.

I'm going to remove emissions equipment , I'm also considering pulling all the ac stuff while I'm at it, the only problem I have is the car is my d/d and I can't have the down time to send the pcm to get tuned, and I haven't found anyone around here that will do it.

Look up pcmforless.com then, thats who did mine. See if he will send you a programmed pcm and you pay cost, then you send back your stock one and get your money back. You can get him to install an LT4 Knock module while youre at it.

Check out madz28.com. He tuned mine and a few other people I know and does a really good job. I also know people that have a pcmforless tune and it worked well too. Both are good, But madz28 is a little cheaper.
