racing question??? OK I have a 96 fromula ws6 car that i just installed hooker long tubes, y pipe, 3 inch spintech single outlet, spec stage 3 clutch, b&m shifter, speed inc cpu, lt4 knock module, new optispark, tr6 plugs, taylor wires. The car feels great I raced my buddies 98 SS and before he beat me bad but know I hang in there with him so i am happy, well then I race my other buddies 93 z28 all stock except for a K&N cold air and a stupid air foil and he is right next to me, or right behind me. I dont under stand this!!!! How is my car so slow!! They are both autos and I am a 6 speed. The LS1 I understand but the 93 z i dont. Does any one have any ideas??
Oh and one other thing my carrier just blew apart about a hour after racing both these guys. SO my day is looking real great.
So if you have a carrrier let me know ..

The 93 could be a freak, he could have more done than a CAI and foil or maybe you have an exhaust leak or something else that is hurting you.
Unfortunately the butt-o-meter usually lies and we feel like the mods added are giving more than they actually do.

as soon as i get a rear end in my car i will go to US 41 and see how it does
