clutch fork

clutch fork Does anybody make an afermarket clutch fork?? I've broken 2 in the last 3 or 4 years, cheap pot metal ****. I'm about to do a clutch install and want to put a good clutch fork in it while it's apart.

Did it say they would fit an F Body?? I'll have to check on that.
Mini Mouse has been put on hold, I wanna see what I can get out of just bolt ons only first with the LT1 and stock vehicle weight. The car still has alot left in it, wouldn't surprise me if I drop close to .2 just from a good clutch, it's slipping purty bad off the line. There's a few other bolts on I'm gonna get too that should help me out some. An opti being one of them, the car has a slight misfire in it, and I mean very slight. Still working on the tune too. I'd like to 7's in the 1/8 with just bolt ons, we'll see.

I'd concentrate on the bolt-ins rather than bolt-ons lol, something like a Hotcam kit is pretty inexpensive at $500 and would yield much more power than boltons... Or if you have the free time... or just plain hate sleep lol... Try porting your heads.. Invest in a air-powered die grinder and some good carbide burrs... I suggest an Egg shaped one with a long shank, and some sandpaper rolls... I spent a lot of time on my heads because It took me so long to save up money to build the rest of the motor........It was my first and only set I've ever ported.. and although I dont know the flow numbers, I know 11.7 @ 112 out of a hotcam car is pretty damn impressive... especially since my worn out lifters and the cheap LT4 springs made me float the valves.. on my cardomain site there are some pics of the ported heads if you want some pointers.

Heads and cam plus a few other things will come eventually and yes I do plan on doing a home port. I just like seeing what I can do with what I got first, sort of an underdog thing I guess. I've been an underdog all my life, why change now! lol
