big problem
big problem my 96 t/a has been running rough like on the freeway at cruise speeds and any time you try to stall it up or put a load on it.it boggs then clears out over and over again like its surging. once you nail its fine ,from 30 punch i stay neck and neck with my buddys 12.80 car. i changed plugs wires and fuel filter yesterday went to the track and it got worse.
just hopeing someone might have some suggestions or had the same problem

or you could run some simple tests with a multimeter and figure out where the current or signal is reaching and not reaching....the signal goes from the optical sensor to PCM to ICM which then trips the coil, then sparks to the cap and rotor....diagnosing the problem will save you from replacing good parts...i mean seriously, how often does and coil, ICM, opti and cap and rotor go bad all at once.....you could spend upwards of $500 and the only problem might be a corroded connector within the ignition circuit...good luck tho...search this forum for scans of a GM service manual, they are on here somewhere
