Default Edelbrock headers

Does anybody have a pic of the TES #6894 (driver and passenger side). I would like to see exactly how the pipes are routed and I can't find a pic of this specific part number anywhere on the Edelbrock site (or anywhere else, for that matter)

Thanks.

I hope your not considering them, I have had two friends with them and both said they were pos.

I had them on my old Z28, and hated them. Poor build quality, impossible to access your plugs/wires, and leaks. They suck, get some Macs or AS&Ms instead if you're going the shorty route.

enisguy summed it up. Get Macs if you want a shorty, atleast Macs have a 1 3/4 primary and decent plug access and not 1 5/8 like edelbrocks

MAC LT1 headers don't have 1 3/4" primaries, they have 1 5/8" - plug access is better me thinks, but IMO the 94/95 SLP Midlengths are a great trade-off. My only warning - GET THEM JET-HOT COATED! there are a few tight spots where various wires can touch the headers and you don't want that!

only gripes with the 94/95 midlengths is plug access on (i think) cylinders #5 and #6; just get some ratcheting wrenches (something every fbody owner should have in my opinion) and you'll be OK

just my $.02

wow junk junk junk is all i can say i was cheap once and bought them i wish i spent another 150 and bought long tubes or slps for that matter. First off they are uncoated, when i took them off after 2 years of use they almost fell apart. They y pipe had to be cut where it croses over under the oil pan it was too long and didnt fit. Plug acess is bad, 1 5/8 primaries are smooshed at the bigining and at the collector. By far the worst aftermarket header for lt1 out there.

mine were warped from the factory, welds were the worst i have ever seen, the primaries and collectors were squished at both ends, and to be blunt, they sucked goats nuts as far as power gains are considered.

OK, you guys have scared me away from the TES. I also have AS&M, SLP on my list. Whatever I get, it will definitely be coated - no question about that.

I want to be able to keep the stock wire routing as well (if at all possible).

Now, I know where I can get AS&M and SLP headers, but who carries the MACs - I have never seen these for sale by a vendor. (albeit, I have not looked through EVERY vendor's website)

No thats wrong, it is on the header itself just like the other side. I have MAC headers and they work great, easy install too. The slip tube on the drivers side makes it very easy.
