Default What size stall should I run.

I have a stock block I have 97 ss it has a K&n filter, CAI, Descreened MAF, Temp. module, Holley airfoil, ported TB. On the exhaust side I have shorty headers, gutted cats, Catback exhaust from SLP. I was wondering what size of stall I should run with this setup. What numbers am I HP numbers am I looking at? Thanks.

depends what kind of street manners you want. is it a Dailiy driver. If it is i wouldn't go over 3000. Some people on the other hand live with it. Im personaly gonna throw a 3400 in mine. Oh baby is she gonna scoot!

I would go somewhere in the area of 2800-3400 if it's a daily driven car. If you plan on turning it into a track beast, go higher so you don't have to swap out and reinstall later on.

I am planning a Vigilante 2600-2800 when I do mine, my mods are pretty similair to yours. Vigilante, from what I hear, stalls higher then its rating.

Dont LT1's have issues with stalls over 3k? I was told their are issues with going over 3k on an LT1, but the LS1's love 3k+.

A 2800 stall is plenty for your mods, combined with the 3.06 first gear, it will make a noticable difference. I run a 4000 stall in my street strip 1986 coupe (carbed LT1/TH350 conversion), but my car is not a daily driver.
