Im geting the motor rebuilt and i want to put a different cam in there being there droping the motor im not sure what type tho. I figured with the injectors the more fuel the more power. As for the cam i need to talk to the guy rebuilding the motor i dont want a cam that will make the car drive poorly somthing more like a mild cam i guess

probably 270-290rwhp and 290-310rwtq. none of your mods really add any significant power...

ok...no 58mm throttle body is needed just yet. I would get a set of long tube headers, off road Y pipe and a better catback/ cutout....to replace the flowmaster. Then I would get a cam....depending on how aggressive you want to get. CC306 or Gm847 are popular off the shelf grinds. Remember you will need valve springs at the minimum for a new cam. Lifters, pushrods and roller rockers aren't a bad idea either. A cam only LT1 with a correct tune could throw down anywhere from 330rwhp-360/370rwhp.

With exhaust and an LE1 setup you could see 370 rwhp. That would be a SICK setup. With the engine out you really only need the cam since you can home port the heads.

I am going to disagree with the home porting idea. Bowl cleanup is very straightforward, but blending and deshrouding and other porting techniques should be left to professionals. You could easily ruin a head, and easily make less power with your "home ported" heads. the LE1 and LE2, LE3 kits are very popular and proven....each worth some major power...but a cam only will get u your 330 mark.
