crank casting numbers 1995 lt1
I checked with my Autozone to see about a crankshaft kit on my LT1 i am rebuilding. They have a few differnt part numbers and a lot of price difference between them.
They looked up a kit for a 1995 F car 350 P code (LT1)
they have one kit for $292.79 which is for castings 14088526, 14088535, $165 core charge
they have another kit for $144.99 which is for casting 14088532, $50 core charge.
I have casting 14088526.
does anyone know the differences in the crank casting numbers or why the core charge would be so different between them?
also, when did the LT1 start using PM rods? i'm pretty sure my 93 lt1 didnt have PM rods, but i thkn my 95 does...the rods are very smooth looking, unlike my 93's where.
