MSD 6AL no fire!

MSD 6AL no fire! I have a 95 Z28, i just put the MSD box on today and the car will turnover just wont start. I bought the harness that goes with it and it still will not fire up the car. i put the stock back on and it works fine. Has anyone had this problem, or know what else to try.

I will try that.
Also I had to add more wire to reach my battery. I cut the wires back about 1 nich on both side and put the wire crossing over each other -=- the equal is how the wires cross and then i twised them together used a soldering gun and some of that stuff that shrinks over the wire to keep a good seal. Have ever herd of anyone using the harness that you can buy with the MSD. Just wanted to see if hat could cause some problems. instead of cutting the wire the harness is plug and play.
