Degreeing A Cam Can this be done on and Lt1 and if so does anyone have any experience with
this? Any hints and tips would be appreciated.
the reason why i ask is because i never hear of anyone doing it on an LT1

Im sure there are some guys on here who know much more than I do about this. When I put my hot cam in my first motor and the cam in my 383 my father degreed both of them. They were both within a half degree(if I remember right) I looked for some offset keys but couldnt find any for the LT1(hence the slot milled for the Crank position switch actuator) If mine was off we were going to get a regular SBC offset key and mill one end off to accomidate.
