Valve spring question?

Thanks!!

I'd call Crane to make sure but I think you'll be looking at the 99893-16's. I'd call them to see which spring they recommend and what seat/open pressure's you'll be looking for.
If you're going with that much lift, I hope you have the heads to handle it and why not just start looking into a SR setup instead?
How do you figure? I've been running the 987's on a near .600 lift cam for over a year with weekly visits to the track and have yet to see any sign of float. Several others use this along with the 847 and have zero problems....funny how a few weeks ago you were asking very basic questions about the 987's, 986's and springs in general and now you seem to be an expert on them. Let me guess....everyone is on the beehive bandwagon and so you thought you'd ride the train without knowing why right?
Are they the best spring out there? Nope. Will they work with the 847.....sure, it's been proven time and time again. Sure beehive's are going to be a better option but to call the 987 junk that won't handle .590 is ignorance.
