Default Is this car worth $7,000?

Here's the link... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4548376882

Is this car worth $7,000? Does anyone have an idea of what times that car might run?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Kinda if you knew the guy and knew it was built right, but its a modded car so your taking a gamble with it. That car should run prety good if it has what he says, but if its all legit, throw in a lot bigger cam to take advanatge of those cubes and heads, you could potentialy have a monster. I belive its worth that in parts, but I'm always weary of modded cars that didnt belong to my friends or people I knew.

Exactly....depends on if everything is put together right. I doubt this guy built his own short block, and since he went with the entire LT4 kit, I am willing to bet a shop sold it to him and installed it.....also 2" lowering springs with LT's....I'm thinking some shop just told him it would work etc and he bought the stuff...but left them to do the motor work. So IF the motor is legit, you would need the following things to make it a monster and a nice car....
Clutch-(spec 3, centerforce/mcleod twin) w/ hydraulics and possibly flywheel-$700+ (i never trust a clutch thats already on a performance car...ever)
Springs-if you go aftermarket you could sell the ones on their and break about even
Cam-GTP-6, GM847 ($209), CC306- for off the shelf grinds these things perform and would make this motor run hard
Tune-150-200ish for PCMforless, madz28 etc.....to get everthing running right with your new cam
9in/12 bolt- the rear end is the next worry..... ......get 4.10's too.....
$2200ish
little things now
driveshaft loop
alum driveshaft
interior to be steam cleaned...lol....that would make a nice car

oh ya.....nitrous...lol...jk....but that would be fun....
just my .02

You never know... that might just be a painted LT1 intake! I'd really need to test drive this car under a load @ high rpm. If it held up without sputtering I'd pay no more than 6k for that car. It WILL need more cash to make that car something awe-inspiring

"Lemon Law" already been wrecked? (SCARY) for the work, it sounds like an ok price, providing everything is what he says. Keep in mind, you could get a stock LS1 for that price with alot less headaches and alot more potential. Anything that sounds too good to be true, usually is, the car sounds problematic to me, why is that, and do you really want someone elses problem? It's always better to go over the car visually before you buy it in person, but it's your money. I'd steer clear.
