where to get injector caps???
where to get injector caps??? i was installing my 36# injectors and dropped the little blue cap on the bottom and cant find them...does anyone know where i can get these little plastic caps? they are blue on mine but heard of them being different colors...anyways help me out cause my car is still sitting

the 1st thing that popped into my mind are the caps on the injectors to protect them in shipping.... there are no "caps" on any injectors ive ever seen unless this is a wierd way to describe the clips holding them on the fuel rail.

I think he's talking about the pintle cap that is on the bottom of the injector, the one that slides off when you replace the lower O-ring. As far as where to get them, check with the your local auto supply store or the maker of the injectors. I haven't bought any myself, but I've heard that Carquest's O-ring kits may also include new caps, but I'm not sure. Have you tried taking the caps off of your stock injectors and seeing if they fit?

these caps are not the plastic ones that are on for shipping...they are like a spray head type cap kinda what squirrelmaster was saying.....the stock injectors dont have them.....im gonna check around some auto parts stores just didnt know if this has happened before to anyone
Yeah, couldn't remember if the stock LT1 injectors had them or not, it's been a while since I've had mine off. I know the stock ones on my truck has them, and if you were closer to me, I'd give them to you. What brand are your injectors?

I had to replace mine, when I bought a set of svo 30#. Got to Napa, they have them with new orings, and you can buy them without them. Just tell them yuou need a rebuild kit for a bosh style injector.
