Yup, its a daily driver. Im young ( 18 ) so maybe thats why i dont care how loud it can be

Yea I'm 19 and the GMMG is going to be my 4th exhaust for this car. You can never have it to loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then just run straight pipes

im trin to find a good flowing quiet muffler for a fair price
and tryin to figure out if i want to run single or true duals with an x pipe

i want to run the 306 in mine as well..i want the wide power and that lovely idle..but it says it needs steep gears..what kind of gears is recd for this cam and the gm cam?..

I don't get it, if you took the gm847 and the cc306, and compared them, what's the difference... Exhaust/Intake duration, hp/torque gained, etc.

I run 4.10s with a 6 speed. I suggest them with the cc306, because damn it loves to rev. i trapped 108mph with no rockers shifting at 6000. With rockers and 6500 shifts i can see 112mph maybe more. On stock heads. I started it shifting at 5700 and was going 105.XX everytime i let her scream more i got more mph. This cam may be old, but it still works.

yea from what i understand, your shift point with the 306 should be like 6500-6700 after talking to a few tuners...like my lil 224/230 loves the 63-6400ish shifts

im worried about my transmission though..i have an a4 ill have about a 4k even stall..but what will mine shift at?..id rather not go through a trans..

So $$ for $$ and power to power which would be the best out of the two? The car is a DD but i could careless if it was a little unmannered cruising, just as long as i dont need to find alternate means of vaccum..

There are much better grinds than the 306....that's an old and busted grind, sure it has had good results but there are much better cams out there for stock heads.
That "old and busted cam" has gotten me some great results. I don't see to many other stock head, stock rear, full weight, N/A cars running my times.
