I drove a car with a cc306, a4, 3200 stall, bolt ons etc. It pulled real hard....and it was streetable. imho, untuned. Go for it, but you will need a stall and a tune. IMO if you are gonna put a cc306 in your car, you might as well go gm847 because its cheaper, and the specs are a little better...i.e>>>>makes more HP. just my .02

What other mods do you have and what stall?

There are much better grinds than the 306....that's an old and busted grind, sure it has had good results but there are much better cams out there for stock heads.

i love the cc306 cam, i dont have one though. Heres a page with some clips, go down until you see LT1 and to the right you will see cutout open right before muffler, cc306 cam.

CC306 is a great cam, its been around for years and makes good power. You can also find them used all over the place.

mine doesnt sound like that...probably because i still have exhaust. i have a 383 with the 306 cam, pace setter mids, and slp's 2OTL exhaust. it's not loud, but it's a nice rumble. the lope is the same, just the tone is different. when i can, i'll get vids for ya.

The car sounds INCREDIBLE with the GMMG. I have had atleast 10 people either stop me while im on my way out of my neighbourhood, or pull up beside me at a light and ask me what kinda exhaust i have etc. Oh yeah, its not that terribly loud at idle to about 2500. But from 2500-6500, stand a few feat back

www.gmpartsdirect.com part no. 12370847. From everything I've read and talking to jeff creech the GM847 is a far better cam than the 306.

Damn, if all goes well hopefully in the next year or so I hope to have the same mods as you, pacesetters, ory, gmmg, cc306 (or gm 847, havent decided yet). Is your car a daily driver? I'm wondering if the ory, gmmg, and cam would be too much.
