Knock module and fuel pump ?'s

Default Knock module and fuel pump ?'s

this may be a dumb question but where is the knock module sensor located on a 97 z28. i'm changin it to the lt4 knock. also, what is the easiest way to go about changin out a fuel pump on a 96 transam? thank you

The knock sensor is on the right hand side of the block where you drain the coolant....here's a picture for ya: http://shbox.com/1/ks.jpg

The "easiest" way to change a fuel pump is to probably cut an access plate out but I personally don't like messing with the structural integrity of a unibody car so I took the extra time to drop the tank and had my buddy who weighs about 120 to crawl up in between the body and the tank to take everything out.

the part that you need to change is the knock MODULE which is inside the computer.

Are you wanting the knock sensor or knock module?

Oops....yup, the KM is inside the computer on the passenger side near the firewall.

ya i needed the km...thanx for that info...any other ways of doin the fuel pump?

There's really only the two. Cut an access plate and dropping the tank.
