Question Lt1 Maf

Are the LT1 MAF ends the same as the LS1 MAF ends? I have upgraded mine(ls1) and I have a buddy with an LT1 and I was going to descreen and port my stocker and give it to him to put on his car. Would it fit in his car?

It will fit, but you won't be doing him any favors by "porting" it.

Why do you say that? I was looking to descreen it and have it nicely polished and smooth.

By porting a MAF really all you accomplish is completely destroying a highly calibrated sensor, hell even swapping the ends on it does that. Use pcm tuning not MAF and fuel pressure trick to tune a car.

The stock MAF is more than adequate for even heads/cam/displacement + motors. As mentioned, an upgraded MAF really isn't necessary, IMO.
