Default Oxygen Sensors & LTs; a question...

I have a 93 Formula and I've got some Hooker LT's for it that I haven't installed yet. I was wondering what all I need to take care of regarding the O2s. I know I'll probably need some extensions -- where's the best place to buy them? Also, I heard somewhere that the 93s have a 3-wire non-heated 02 and that you should upgrade to a 94+ 4-wire heated 02 because the exhaust isn't hot enough because they are placed too far back in the header.

Not heard anything like that but I wouldn't know either. Besides, wouldn't the harness to the PCM still just be 3-wire? Anyway, I got my O2 extensions from Summit for about $25 each. I don't have a PN handy but I think they are Casper's Electronics pieces. I also purchased some weld in bungs and welded them on my exhaust flanges (not the headers, after the headers). You can get those flanges to weld your pipe to and they're about 6 inches in length (Summit brand). I do think however that Hooker has some LT's with the bung on the collectors, but it's too late for that.

The 93 only have one wire because they are not heated they just have one wire that travles to the ecm on the heated o2 there are 3 wire one ecm one 12v power wire and one ground.
I have heard suggestion about changing to heated O2 on my 93 speed density but i was told that on the mass air cars its just better to go with the O2 sims. because the O2 are not that critical when it comes to mass air cars.

Actually the 94+ cars have four wires although I don't know what the other one does.
