Another MSD cap and rotor question!
Another MSD cap and rotor question! I am nearing 100k on my opti so could I just replace the cap and rotor with an MSD one, or would I be better served just replacing the whole thing with a new GM replacement.

Msd it definitely wouldn’t hurt to get a hole new OPTI and MSD kit. but you know what they say. if it ain't broke don't fix it. the MSD cap and rotor kit is definitely an improvement. some people do go with no trouble at all out these things.
then again it would really suck to rip all that stuff out and then shortly down the road have to do it again to replace the distributor.
tough call. maybe just plan to have the money to get the distributor if it looks nasty in there when you take it apart. if it look good just do the cap and rotor.
