Default car not running

my buddy has a 97 TA. his car has a random misfire code i believe. it has gotten a new opti, crank sensor, plugs, wires, and fuel pump. the only real mod on teh car is hooker LTs and corsa catback.

the car barely runs once it gets hot. i think you can floor it and only go like 40 miles an hour or something. he had trouble goin over a small hill.

we are putting in a new opti right now to make sure it wasn't a bad one. compression is good. what should be checked next.

air and fuel would be a big one. make sure there arent any vacuum leaks and the plug wires havent been fried on the headers.

I had a similar problem with mine and it was caused by a couple of plugs wires on the headers. I would check the plugs wires. Good luck.
