Default Start-up problems

I drove my car for 10 miles with the new engine and it had a hard time started. I let it sit for 10 minutes and it started up again. Then 200 miles with no problems it does it again. I drove away with my friend and came back and it still didn't start. it was after a short run from the exhaust shop to work. Is this the reason? Not running it long enough before I shut it off? Does the engine have to be broken in more? Or is it an ignition problem with all the msd stuff? I hear the coils can sometimes be a pain. I have the 6AL box. Any advice would be great. thanks

i went back 30 minutes later and it started, i kept on the throttle for awhile and then let off and it idled but then it died again. I'm frustrated thats all I can say. Is the the fuel pump maybe? i'm just not sure.

check your fuel pressure & volume but I would also check the wires to the msd. I had a problem like that once and it was caused by one of the wires to the msd was rubbing on the core support and causing the msd box to shut down. It would star working again after a while.good luck

I'm giving in and bringing it to the car shop. In front of work is not the place to start troubleshooting wiring and i have no way to get it to my place. ugh

have fun changing the fuel pump if you do it your self and the gas tank is 3/4 full of gas
