Rick Abare, a NHRA Walley Trophey Winner several times, may just be the fastest & quickest 383 LT1. 10.21 @ 133.0 last weekend. He is currently running Advanced Induction CNC ported GM LT1 castings with a GM LT1 intake/48mm TB.

Up state NY & correct no LT4 stuff as you say...just GM 653 castings and the GM LT1 intake & TB. We will be testing with a 58mmTB next weekend.

Thank you, it drives great in the street too. That wasn't the stall spike either, that was well over 470. It still carried over 370 past 5000 rpms. The cam and the heads work well together. The new cam should make even more TQ. I'll keep ya posted.

Jeff, that's the black TA similar to mine (except has all the decals) you see in the picture on my office wall. The one with all the red BMR stuff showing under it.

That dude is a driver. He bracket races that car (foot brakes it) and wins a lot of races running the "top" brackets against the 7 second dragsters with delay boxes, cross-over boxes, and the rest of the electronic crutches.
He was runner-up in a $10,000.00 to win (He got $4,000.00 for runner-up) "gambler's" race, week before last. Three rounds were against 7 second rails.

Been tuning that one since '97 or '98. Rick told me the high was about 70 degrees last weekend up there. Wish we had some of that weather down here. This 95/100 degree stuff sucks. Makes an old fat man sweat.

Take care, Ed
