Bad engine vibration

Bad engine vibration During idle my engine vibrates more that it use to. Also it does real bad at like 3000 and beyone rmp's. Was wondering if anyone had an idea of what it could be. thanks

Could be motor mounts, is this an A4? Check on the harmonic balancer. Check the torque converter also and make sure the flywheel is balanced correctly... it could be a ton of things. Just run through everything and you will find out what it is.

This car is an M6. We just got the rebuilt engine back in. It kind of sounds like there is alittle chatter by the flywheel. A new clutch was installed so I'm guessing that we didn't get it set right or something? We put a new harmonic balancer on, but it is a stock replacement. Maybe I'll have to upgrade to a fluid one. Don't have alot of money to spend since I just spent all the money on the engine and the fuel pump went out 200 miles after it. Stock flywheel was reused.
