paxton on an lt1
A guy that went to my school had a Paxton on a stock internal LT1 and drove it every day with just a full exhaust and fuel mods on a stock tune. I'm not sure of how much boost he was running through it, though. Probably 6psi, give or take. Are you looking at building the motor or no?
If you're looking at attaining a certain power level on a street driven car, there are much more streetable ways to attain upwards of 400 rwhp. Heads/cam packages are getting pretty cheap as far as LT1s are concerned and will leave with a setup that has MUCH more longevity than a boosted one.
At the very least, wait for a while and make sure you finish up your bolt-ons. If you're planning on modifying your heads and valvetrain also, do that first as well. If you're really dead-set on having a blown setup, research your *** off and make sure that your cam and heads are well suited to boost from a belt driven blower.
