i am in the process of getting a stall and i found one off a guy a street fighter(not the super street fighter) TCI lock up convertor never seen the track at2700-3000..hes seling it for 150...do u guys think i will benefit from it or save for a higgher one like 3600..??...and my mods now are cut out, no cat, Jet HOt LT's 3.23 geaers, drag radiasl, free mods, moroso CAI
The TCI may work OK but a GOOD converter is worth the money. Almost everyone I know who has tried multiple converters ends up happiest with an Edge or Yank, Vig is good as well but I would place it below the other two.
I stick with Vigi because they are great quality converters, I have a 3200 in mine, car drives perfect on the street with out any problems at all. My friend couldnt even tell it was there. I have never ran a TCI so I really cant tell you, find a converter shop and have them clean it for you. I think Vigi makes a bad *** converter, solid gains from every car I have seen, always .5 tenths from every car I have seen with it.
Fuddle Racing is supposed to have some good/cheap converters. I'll probably be getting a 3200 stall with the following mods:
Jet Hot LT's ORY
LPE CAI
Madz28 tune
3.23's
Cutout
Soon getting Drag Radials
I should be in the 12's with drag radials and this converter.
