Default Clutch Install

I guess I'll get unlazy and install my new clutch next week. I've done a few clutches in my day, so I know what I'm doing, but I was just wondering, for those of you that have installed your own clutches- have you had better experience unbolting the tranny from the bell housing first or by just unbolt the bellhousing from the motor with the tranny still attached?

unbolting the tranny from the bell housing.. to be honest im not sure if you can unbolt the bell housing from the motor since you have to loosen the shift fork and slide it out of the way.

much easier to unbolt tranny then bell housing. You will need a 3 foot extention with a 14mm swivel socket on the end of it.

Unbolt the bellhousing from the engine. The most difficult bolts are the top 2. Once you get the other bolts out, lower the *** end of the tranny, use a swivel and you can get them out.

i say trans then bell, thats the way i have done it the past 3 time and its not bad. i did end up making my own extension though....

pull the gear box first. No matter what. It will take you a LOT less time. Then you can literealy just get right in there and take off the bellhousing adapter. I tried to save time and take it all out at once. The belhousing gets stuck on the tunnel. I had to jack on the crank hub to tilt the tranny down.
