Default spring and lifter with CC306

I'm swapping out the the CC 305 for the 306 now that I got my heads ported. I wanted to know what springs I should use. I've heard comp 918 but haven't been able to find any so far(not much free time). I also heard comp 977's but they are a double spring. would I have to machine the heads for the inner spring. What is the stock valve stem size(dia). where can I find a set of hardended pushrods, what is the stock length. What lifters should I use I've heard comp R lifters where can I find these. Or are there any other lifters you would recommend. what seats and reatiners need to be used with the 918 or 977 springs. if you could put where to find them company, part number or a link would be awesome. I know this question has probably been asked but I didn't have time to search and I'm on dial up(slow as hell). any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got a set of EX-612's from combination motorsports. I used stock lifters, and stock pushrods ( 95's have hardened ) With my cc306. A site like combo or any one of the sponsors on your right should have what your looking for -------------->

will the sock lifter hold up to the 306. cause I have some comp lifters I used with the CC305 that only have like 2500 miles on them. IN case you wanted to know why I swapping the cams again after only 2500 miles. I have a second set of heads I had proted and I just blew a head gasket. so I figured might as well swap now. thanks for the info. anybody else

Stock lifters should hold up fine. As long as there not really high mileage.

i'd call up comp cams and see which lifters and springs they recommend. i'd be skeptical about using stock lifters with the cc306. obviously ppl have done it, but that's not the place i'd be looking to save money. you don't need something as extreme as the comp R, but u can get those if you want. like i said, comp will be able to tell u what u want.
