what do you think of these cams
what do you think of these cams how do you think these compare to the CC306. I want something that has the nice lopey idle of the 306 and the good upper/mid power it has. So I was wondering if you guys thought of these cam.
1 CC 230XL 23/236@.050 .544/.555 with 1.6 rockers 112 LSA
2 CC 227XR 227/233@.050 .560/.569 with 1.6 rockers 111 LSA
which do you think will give that "it's got a cam for sure" lopey idle. and the mid upper hit in the power range. the car is daily driven but is not my only car. I plan to use comp 918 springs and hardened pushrods. not sure on comp stock style lifters or the R series lifters though. might spray the motor in the future notheing big maybe 125 shot. car will have some mild ported heads by a local guy. he's good but nothing like lloyd elliot or somebody like that.

Either will sound cammed and in an NA car I bet the "smaller" one if anything is faster. If SERIOUS about the nitrous and want to optomize it's performance then the one with the 112 would be better or better yet get that intake lobe with one step larger exhaust lobe. The LARGE I/E split is why the 306 loves juice.
