MSD Cap and Rotor
I was just wondering if your Opti was dying, could this be a cheaper alternative than buying another GM one?

1: don't waste your money on a cap and rotor kit unless you already have a perfectly good opti to throw it on
2: they are not available for sale yet. No date is released. MSD fuged up and pulled them all back for more R and D

My reasoning is that if the Opti failure is due to the cap and rotor, wouldn't it be a cheaper, albeit short-term fix for the problem?
And if I bought a brand new Opti from GM, how long would that one last?

The only time these things need ignition upgrades is on boost or juice and then you want tone with window switches and timing retard and such not that POS.
