Default 1"3/4 or 1"5/8 shorty headers?

Im going to be putting shorty headers on my 97 z28 and was just wondering which would be better the 1"3/4 or the 1"5/8 headers. im thinking more the 1"3/4s. any info would help on these or if maybe someone has a set for sale for a good price.thanks

I have the SLP headers and they are pretty good. Plugs access is bad with any shorty headers . I also got mine coated and it seems to be holding up.

I'm not a big fan of shorties, but if any I guess 1 3/4" shorties are better than stock manifolds.
