Default Exhaust ??

I'm planning on ordering a set of longtubes this week. My question is, if I install the headers and i get o2 extensions for the front and o2 simulators for the rear, will it run ok for a little while with open headers or do you guys not suggest doing that? Im not worried about the cops or anything like that- and i drive it less than 100 miles a week, so not much. I was just wondering if it would run ok and I thought I've heard something before that running open headers is not good for head gaskets or something. Any help would be appreciated.

It depends, the problem is your O2's will start to pick up some some clean air since there will be nothing after the headers, so it will start to run shitty.

Ok, I was kinda wondering about that since the o2 bungs are right there at the collector. And do you know if thats true or not what I heard about running open headers not good for a head gasket or something?

I think it could burn a valve from not enough back preasure, but I could be wrong.
