He has a '93, so LT1 Edit won't work I don't think.
His car uses chips, so he'd have to buy the software and hardware to burn his own chips.
PCMforLess does tuning on the 93's I know. But not sure who else does.

Great tuning for bolt-on or mildly cammed cars. Last time I checked it was only $100 too. I've used them before and had no problems other than a lengthy turnaround, but I'm almost positive that was just due to how many PCMs Bryan was currently working on.

yes, i second PCMforless.com I use it in my 94 and my best bud used it for his 93. Aside from having a machine that can burn chips, this is a excellent way to get tuning done. ALso get Datamaster. You can record PCM data from 93-95 (the program varies for the years).As long as its running 100% mechanically. Send that data to the tuner and he can give you more accuate adjustments!

Verdad Gallardo I think he may be asking how he would have his chipped tuned considering it is already aftermarket... for example, he has a HyperTech chip, not a stock chip... so would his pcm for less tuning plug into his hypertech chip or would he have to buy a stock chip?

If you've got a hypertech chip, it's an aftermarket chip. However, PCMforless or another comparable company would be able to burn a custom chip for you more specific to your application. Give them a call and talk to them about it though I'm not really a Speed density expert. Also, you 93 F-Body guys should check out www.speeddensity.org
SO should i stick with the hypertech chip or look into a new one, i honestly have not really felt the hypertch chip at all. Maybe here and there shifting and the fan.
