Turbo cam?
Turbo cam? I have a 96 trans am with around 97k and im looking for a good turbo cam.IM runnin a innovations 60-1 turbo.. i was wonder about a good cam that is reliable, loopy, handles good under around 6lbs of boost and it really good for everyday driving.. thanks alot
im not a cam expert but, anything with a 114-116 LSA, decent lift but lower duration. You just dont want to loose that boost (bleeding off). Talk to a cam guy, maybe Brett B.

A turbo motor needs a unique cam which is not necessarily similar to a blower motor. The major difference between them is that a turbo motor sees much more backpressure. If overlap is not chosen well then the exhaust charge will flow back through the intake valve and to the intake and that will just kill power, by diluting the intake charge and by increasing it's temperature. Do as recommended and talk to a good cam designer.
