Default LT4 Starter touches header primary

Hey guys, I just installed my LT4 starter, and the very tip of it touches one of the primaries on my MAC headers. Do any of you think this will be a problem???

Hi, and yes thats a big problem, first of by having the starter that close to the header you will cut the life of the starter down because it will always be hot! DOnt be surprised if later down the line your starter only starts after it cools down.. I suggest you get a file and file the tip on the starter down a bit, after that buy a headers wrap and just wrap the primarie that runs along the side of the starter.

They also make a heat blanket you can wrap around the starter and clamp it...Done it before and it worked great !
