383 Stroker Kit??
You looking to go with a cast or forged crank?
I ran a scat 9000 crank for 6 years in my 383. Took some heavy metal to balance, but it worked fine, and held up to lot's of juice on a two stage kit, then 14psi of boost when the nitrous was pulled off. Crank looked great when I pulled it out earlier this year.
It's my understanding the the forged cranks are easier to balance. And the pricing is much better on the forged than it was 6-7 years back.

I'm running a 4340 crank and h-beams from scat and it held up so far on my 383 with juice.......tell him Cris with the 383 lt1 sent you....

Thanks guys for the info and I am planning to run with a forged crank, and I will get in touch with Jim, and look on ebay. Are the H-beams from scat as good as the ones from eagle?
