so pissed at track times
Yo bros, just got back 10 mins ago from Dragway 42 test & tune night. (I live 2 miles from there )
******* so disapointed though its rediculous. Couldnt get traction only like 4 of 25 cars got into 13s thats how bad traction was for everyone.
Best i could get was a 14.5 at 99mph, hah pathetic.
This is the first time I've gone to the track since I modded my car it was bone stock last time I went and I ran a 14.7.
I need to upgrade my clutch hydralics because when I shift fast it doesnt want to go into gear and it ***** up my whole run.
If I got traction what time would you estimate I should be able to hit?

What is the DA there and temps, barometer etc readings the night/day you ran? I went 13.5 @ 102.5 w/ a 2.0xx 60' on street tires, 4.10s, centerforce dual friction, fresh hydraulics, cai, blowmaster, sfc's and a ripper. This was in st louis, so i'm not sure about altitude, but it was rather chilly this day..about 50 or so degrees. You should be right around 13.0-12.90s or so with traction so long as your altitude, humidity and track temp aren't way off. If you clicked off a 1.70-1.80 60' you can get there with some powershifting

I'm just as bad. I'm running Nitto DR size is 275/50/15. I can't get them to hook worth a darn and the other night my best 60ft was 2.10 and everything else was the 2.4ft range. ANd to think I walked into the throttle everytime and still lost traction. I even had my friend log a few runs on his laptop, and I guess I'm slow to roll into WOT cause i didn't hit it until 40mph. No wonder my best so far is only a 14.01
