LT1 FAST Piggyback ASR Problems?

LT1 FAST Piggyback ASR Problems? Hello all,
Wondering if anyone else has ran into this. Got a 93 LT1 running FAST EFI system. Car was a 6 speed and is now an A4. Changed factory PROM to an A4 for Check Engine light. When I approach the 5K range the gas pedal gets hard as a rock and the car won't turn anymore. If I stand on the pedal it finally gives and the car turns to 6500 where it's supposed to. The ASR is disabled by the switch so i don't know what is going on. Anyone got any ideas on this?

Just a huge shot in the dark but sounds like maybe issues with your cable and/or throttle blade. If it were an electronics problem, I wouldn't think standing on the pedal would "free it up."

Thanks, I need to revise my description a bit, It only does it in 3rd or 4th gear. 1st and 2cnd turn to 6500 no problem. I don't know much about these ASR cars. It's a 93 Corvette. I am going to do the entire adjustment procedure by the factory service manual and see if that fixes it.
